Last week I got invited to the grand opening of a new restaurant in Antwerp: Flâneur. I was super excited because this restaurant serves three spaghetti’s in different ways. Yes, SPAGHETTI. Everybody who only even knows me the slightest bit will know I’m an absolute pasta freak. I literally eat pasta almost every day (thank God I workout so much) so this was a Gods gift to me. Are you curious if I liked their versions of spaghetti (I’m hard to convince you guys)? Just read this review on Antwerp’s new hot spot at ‘t’ Zuid’ in Antwerp.

Hungry yet? These tapas where absolutely delicious! These little plates of joy were part of our welcome at Flâneur. Before making you even more hungry, let’s first begin at the beginning:
What is Flâneur
Flâneur is a new restaurant that opened on October 13 2016 in Antwerp, t’ Zuid. It’s a restaurant specialized in spaghetti (yes, dreams do come true!) and has the matching slogan: Spaghetti for connoisseurs.
But what does it mean? A flâneur is someone who passionately wanders around from one hot spot to another. It’s the city’s ‘know-it-all’, always on the hunt for the best spots in town. Everywhere this person goes, he or she will most likely order a spaghetti bolognaise with a glass of red wine. To honor these kind of persons (I’m part of the tribe, minus the wine), they have created a trendy Belle Epoque setting in Antwerp’s place to be: Zuid.
Spaghetti for connoisseurs
On the menu you can find three different kinds of spaghetti made in a Belgian way: two with a meat sauce (bolognaise) called Classic & Chunky Ragù and a vegetarian spaghetti, Pomó.
I tasted them all and I am already counting the days to go back. I’ve rarely had spaghetti this good in my entire life.

With these three spaghetti’s they also chose three fitting wines that go perfectly together. It’s like Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Rose & Jack, Noah & Allie … a perfect match.
We ended our day with a big smile because: spaghetti, but we also enjoyed eating these three amazing desserts.

When your in Antwerp, definitely stop by at Flâneur! It’s worth it.
