From now on you can follow every step into my new adventure of becoming a flight attendant. I thought this was the perfect way to keep everybody up to date, especially for my readers without Instagram. It’s all very new and fresh but here’s what I had to do so far.
First of all, let me tell you this: the waiting sucks ?. I did my interview on September 22nd 2016, got my ‘accepted’ mail October 4th 2016 and just recently received an email with the final date to start my course. I was actually kinda panicking because I saw one of my colleagues placed a post on Facebook that she could start the training in April 2017. Well let’s just say I expected a phone call in stead of an email so … I was seriously freaking out about the fact I was left out and the rest had received ‘that’ call. Thank God for nice colleagues and the girl immediately send me a Facebook message to tell me I had to check my mails. And there it was: THAT mail. My reaction?
Anyway, the mail arrived and so did the question to pas by the Brussels Airline HQ in Brussels. Luckily I work just at the airport already so I went straight after work. We had to fill in some documents, gave a copy of our passport, ID-card and two passport photos. Next up was we had to get an appointment at the medical department to get ourselves checked. Mine is March 17th 2017.
I’m thinking about making a ‘Flying Diaries’ about my layovers and things I’ve done on flights. Would that interest you?
Thank you for reading this post. Hope to see you again next time.
