VOLKSWAGEN FUN CUP

A few weeks ago I received an email if I wanted to be part of the Volkswagen Fun Cup. I never heard of it, my boyfriend (of course) did. He got super excited so I decided to participate because he made me curious. The event took place at the circuit of Mettet which lays in the province of Namur. It was an incredibly cool day. Let me tell you all about it!

Volkswagen wanted to approach a more female, lifestyle public who know how to life their life. Together with other Flemish and Walloon bloggers/influencers we got thrown into a, for us, quite unknown world. The Volkswagen Fun Cup took place October 19th and we got to drive with one of the cool VW Fun Cup cars on the circuit of Mettet. As scared as I was to get started, I really had the best time driving.

After a 1h30 drive, me and Nena from Turnitinsideout, arrived at the destination. We got welcomed by Volkswagen & got ready to rumble. Not shortly after we met up with Helena & Nele from Fivemoreminutes, An-Katrien from Teacupsanddresses , Louise from Appetight & Cindy from Theafterworkblog. No racing day is complete without one hell of a cool racing suit. I felt like one of those cool and though chicks. After this: a pilot briefing & time to get driving.

Once the briefing was finished we could drive one of the VW Fun Cup cars as a passenger. I wanted to make an on board movie but I was so impressed I forgot (whoops). Anyway, the best way to discover this is to drive yourself! And that’s what I did, still hard to believe though. I drove the Miami and Peace & Love car, lucky me. I really think I never had such an adrenaline rush before. Just an amazing experience that I’m super thankful for.

Thank you to Volkswagen & Primetime communication for letting me cross this experience of the bucket list!

To finish off: some of my own pictures made throughout the day.
