Recently I started changing up my Instastories because I wanted it to be more ‘me’, personal & fun to watch. Instastories has become equally as important as Instagram itself so if we want to stay interesting to our followers, we need to turn it up a notch. That’s why I decided I wanted to make it more fun with new apps & show more personal footage. I received tons of questions on what apps I use for Instastories. I’m happy to tell you all about it in this article.I started using some new apps for Instastories a while ago and I received tons of positive reactions. A lot of you asked me what apps I use so here we go!
As you might have noticed, I’m really loving the vintage look. To create this particular look, I use the 8MM vintage camera app. Unfortunately, you can only make videos with this app and no pictures. Such a shame because I truly like the effect it gives. You can see a lot of influencers/bloggers using this app. One of my favorite Instagrammers, Leonie Hanne from OhhCouture , uses this same app on her instastories. 8 MM vintage camera is only available on the App Store . If you’re an Android user, there are other kinds of apps such as Vintage 8 mm video or iSupr8 Vintage Super 8 Camera.
The question that I receive the most on Instastories is: What kind of app do you use to add multiple pictures or videos in 1 shot? How do you get that lay out on instastories? Well, the app that I’m currently using on Instastories for these features is Unfold. This app has minimal layouts and templates to create your own story on Instastories. I really am obsessed with it just because this app allows you to make your stories so much more personal. It’s super easy to learn and you quickly get the hang of it. Again, there is no app for Android but there are a lot of great alternatives if you look it up.
I mostly use the InShot app to add music to my video page that I created on Unfold but there are so many more features. You can make a photo grid with multiple pictures or just one and create an instastory like mentioned above. With this app, you can even change the background colors where Unfold only had white or black. If you’re not so much into minimalism, this app is the one for you!
